FORUDEF a partnering local organization of World Wild Fund (WWF) participated in an evaluation meeting of the MoU between MINFOF and WWF which took place on the 19th Dec 2025 at MINFOF Regional Delegation SWR. During this meeting WWF gave a run down of their activities from 2021-2024 by indicating the successes and challenges working and implementing activities in the parks of intervention that is BNP, KNP, Banyang-Mbo santuary, Lobéké National Park, MCNP and the Boumba Bek National Park. With all, there was individual consultation meetings with MINFOF and the CSO partners of WWF to know how the working relationship of the CSOs and WWF was going and if the CSOs had problems with WWF. Would the CSOs love to continue working with WWF or not and should MINFOF renew their MoU with WWF.

FORUDEF happened to be one of the CSOs in that consultation meeting and it was indeed a success. As we end 2025 and begin 2026, we hope to have an excellent relationship with not only WWF but also MINFOF as we also work in getting a partnership agreement with MINFOF as one of the intervening CSOs of Protected Areas in the South West Region.
